This organisation had its beginnings in 1983 as People Who Care. Originally it was involved in helping with gardening etc for mainly seniors. Regarding Women's Refuge, 50% are Aboriginal, 50%  14 to 18 yr olds with small children.
Starting Over Support helps these disadvantaged people who have no possessions or financial means to set up their new home by providing furniture, whitegoods and essential household items. The organization has 2 trucks to collect and distribute the goods.
